I've wanted to do this for awhile, but today something just clicked. The yarn is two balls of the sweater kit Esther sent over a few months ago (David Grains Iceland Lopi.) This is the stinkiest yarn I've ever met; it smells like it was sheared yesterday, and my kitchen is still filled with the less-than-appetizing aroma of candy-coated sheep. I shudder to think what this sweater would've smelt like in the rain. This project does nothing to dispell my mother's conviction that wool reeks.

Eventually I think these guys will be Dulaan hats, which has been my overall plan for this yarn since I heard of the Dulaan project.
